New Denali Superintendent Selected

Newspapers in West Virginia are reporting that Don Striker, the superintendent of New River Gorge National River, is leaving to take the position of superintendent at Denali National Park and Preserve. As of this writing, we have not seen anything official from the National Park Service. This article contains some interesting information about Striker’s accomplishments and values while at New River Gorge.
