PLEASE SEE UPDATED INFORMATION ON THIS POST  BY CLICKING HERE

The Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission is considering new regulations to govern the practice of fracking in Alaska’s oil and gas industry. These regulations could apply to possible gas drilling on  208,000 acres of state lands licensed to Usibelli Coal Mine for gas exploration, outside the northeast corner of Denali National Park. Public comment on the proposed regulations is being provided and we at DCC will review and comment on the new regulations.  The AOGCC website can be reached at http://doa.alaska.gov/ogc/
