Is it time for zero-carbon buses at Denali?
As climate change brings profound changes to Denali National Park and its infrastructure, it seems important to to do everything we can to lower greenhouse gas emissions associated with visiting and managing the park. To that end, DCC recently wrote Superintendent Brooke Merrell to encourage consideration of switching to electric buses following the example recently set by Zion National Park. While Denali has a more complicated situation for bus transportation than Zion, NPS could set a great example here by pushing to be a climate leader. Read our entire letter here.
