Pretty Rocks Bridge Project to Get Underway this Summer

The bridge will span a melting rock glacier which as caused a section of the road at mile 45 to slump beyond repair.

NPS is circulating to some of its partners that bridge construction at Pretty Rocks will now extend through July of 2026 rather than completing in May, 2025. That means the road closure will last for almost 5 full years by the time the bridge is open, barring other delays. ... See MoreSee Less
