National Park Service Seeking Input on Scenic Overlook Pullout on Government Hill

Denali National Park and Preserve is seeking input on the construction of a new pullout at mile 2.5 of the Denali Park Road. The purpose of the pullout is to provide vehicles the opportunity to safely stop and enjoy the scenic view at this overlook. No plan is offered in the press release. This scoping period will last until August 4 and an environmental assessment will be completed and available for public review at a later date. The public is encouraged to participate in both the scoping and assessment processes.
